My six-year-old grandson Shane loves to play football.  His Mom captured a great shot of him at the moment just before he was tagged in a game.  Note the look of desperation on his face!

I recently painted this portrait of my grandson Quinn, from a photo taken at Easter 2012, when he was seven years old.   Next I'm going to tackle a single portrait of both my grandsons, Quinn and Shane.

I've been taking portrait classes from Kim Johnson-Nechtman, who is a wonderful teacher.
