I painted this from a photo I took a few years ago, while on a trip to Idaho and Wyoming.  The Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks should be seen by everyone.  They are truly treasures.

Red Rock Sunset, 6x8 oil painting

During the past year I've taken a few classes from Dick Heichberger, a master landscape painter.  He really focuses on the use of transparent color, and that "less is more".  I painted this in one of his classes from a photo I had taken in Sedona.
